Since my major is English, I chose to focus on observing and participating in teaching plans for the English subject. From what I observed, Muchild's way of teaching English was immersive and communicative, ensuring that students did not just memorize grammar rules but instead used the language in practical ways.

The mix of reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities comprises the core of lesson plans. Interactive storytelling, role-play, and multimedia integration keep teachers as the conveners of the lesson, as interaction clicks with students.

What I found more interesting was the way teachers infused Indonesian culture into their English lessons. They would use local stories, historical events, or even social issues in Indonesia for discussion, allowing students to express their opinions in English while remaining connected to their cultural heritage. This made me think about how I could apply this approach in the Philippines as a future educator—integrating local culture into English lessons, making them more enriching and relatable.
