Muchild's philosophy of teaching incorporates not just the traditional textual resources. Teachers draw on various resources and strategies to make teaching appealing and effective.
Videos, online articles, interactive grammar platforms, and digital storytelling tools are accessed in English lessons to supplement learning and communication skills. Printed materials and worksheets are, of course, necessary for cementing a structured approach, but the lesson is mostly delivered through discussions and explorations run by the students. Another very dynamic part of learning at Muchild is the constant flow of students involving project-based learning, where students get to show what they have learned through presentations, videos, posters, digital art, or performance-based outputs such as dance and song. This approach nurtures language skills and builds confidence in the students to express their thoughts and ideas.
Often, celebrated learners in the presence of textbooks are substituted with electronics. Teachers use PowerPoint presentations, games like Kahoot! and Google Classroom discussion-based learning to teach. Such a way of learning helps engage students and makes learning interactive and easily accessible. In addition to using online activities for homework, quizzes, and online discussions, this diverse approach allows them to keep their minds going, for the sake of visibility on their progress. This ever-multiplying constellation of learning materials and new approaches creates a learning environment that allows students the chance not just to learn but also to be active participants in their own learning.
